When I created this blog, it was meant to be an online platform to share about my experience as a lifestyle writer and blogger.
Singapore being a city-state where everything is efficient and runs in tip-top condition, the idea of lifestyle is something most of us only dream about. And the rising cost of living everywhere isn’t helping either.
So I decided to set out on a journey, listening and sharing stories of different (and often times, unique) ways some Singaporeans are adopting to achieve their dream lifestyle.
You see, there is this misconception you have to be rich to live the life you want.
For a long time, I used to think that way as well. But after meeting many different people from different walks of life, I began to notice something common about those who are living the life they want… they are happier.
To some, they’re content with what they have. To others, they are glad they dared to take the risk and pursue what they’ve always dreamed about.
And there are those who are fortunate to succeed in their business.
Many different approaches. One same outcome.
That’s the reason why I revamped this blog’s purpose.
To share these stories. So that anyone who needs some motivation, a little push, some inspiration, or advice, can find the courage to go out and chase the life they’ve dreamed about.
The life you want!
And to be happier striving for it.

Still want more?
Alright, here’s a quick peek into my story. Some people know me as an internet marketer. But within this niche, I’ve a different website that focuses on what I do full-time. Copywriting. As a Singapore copywriter, I focus on writing sales materials for businesses.
In some way, this has given me more time and the resources to pursue other things in my life. It has also given me the freedom to learn new things. Experiment with new ideas. And go on trips around the world. Without having to apply for leave.
But while the perks look amazing. It wasn’t always that way.
I started out my career in the financial planning industry. Completely greenhorn back then. Without much skills or knowledge.
Because of that, I lacked the confidence to do many things. And I was constantly struggling to close sales. Money was also tighter then as I didn’t draw a stable income.
I wish I could say things transformed overnight, but reality is often different from stories.
What I can say however is I was fortunate to meet some key people in my life. Who through their guidance and encouragement helped me to become more aware of the mistakes I was committing and how to correct them.
The truth is… there are plenty of things to learn in our lives. I’m constantly finding new things to learn every single day.
But what will separate us from chasing the things that give us meaning is the choice of baggage we choose to carry with us.
Our mindset about the events happening. Both good and bad.
I was fortunate to learn from people who showed me why my mindset was limiting me from doing much greater things. From going out to chase after a sale, to having the confidence to stand on-stage in public. to focusing on minute details in my work. But once I adjusted the way I looked at things and allowed positivity to flow into my life…
Things became better. Much better.
Of course, mindset adjustment does take time. It won’t happen overnight. And definitely, there will always be good days and bad days. But once you’ve the right frame of mind, dealing with bad days become easier. While enjoying the good days is that much sweeter. And they will come more often as well.
If you would like to learn more about mindset, I’ve prepared a FREE 5-day online course to help get you started. There are activities and exercises inside. And a lot of sharing to help put some of these theories into practice. I call this course the Mentality Awareness Programming. Because it will help you become more aware about the things happening around you and the deeper messages within them. Click on the link to learn more.
